Selection process and criteria
"Erasmus is more than just an opportunity to travel; it's an experience that allows you to grow professionally and personally in a European environment."
Here we explain how you can be part of this educational adventure and what aspects we consider when selecting participants.
For the Cortes Verge CFPs, it is imperative to carry out a transparent and equitable selection process based on criteria such as academic performance, motivation, language skills, and the suitability of mobility for their curriculum. This selection system takes equity into account to ensure that students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds or with disabilities can also participate.
The European Project Coordination of the Verge de Cortes CFPs has established, in line with the guidelines and values of Erasmus , an objective and transparent selection system. These criteria are presented to students from the very beginning of the mobility process and can be consulted at any time on the Verge de Cortes website.

Selection criteria:
For the Cortes Verge CFPs, it is imperative to carry out a transparent and equitable selection process based on criteria such as academic performance, motivation, language skills, and the suitability of mobility for their curriculum. This selection system takes equity into account to ensure that students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds or with disabilities can also participate.
The European Project Coordination of the Verge de Cortes CFPs has established, in line with the guidelines and values of Erasmus , an objective and transparent selection system. These criteria are:
1. The student's academic record, taking into account the grades obtained up to the time of selection and the student's performance in the practical competitions. This criterion is weighted at 40%. Absences: All absences during the school year, both justified and unjustified, will be counted, and may not exceed 20% of the total.
2. English language level. A level test will be administered to students by English language teachers at the schools. Instead of a level test, it can be validated through accreditation or certification from the EOI (Educational Institute of English Languages) or authorized equivalents. The score for this criterion is 10%, and the following assessment is established:
- A1-A2 Certification: 0.5 points.
- Certification: B1: 1 point.
- Certification: B2 or higher: 2 points.
If you take the level test, the score will be equivalent to the level obtained.
3. Teaching team evaluation: Assessment of the student's attitude toward the school, their commitment to academic and extracurricular activities, their ability to work in a team, and their responsibility. This objective assessment will be conducted by the teaching team. A motivation letter may be requested, which will assess the student's motivation and potential for achievement. 25% rating.
4. Degree of functional diversity or special economic conditions, etc. 25%.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
What happens if I don't have a language level?
No problem. The language level assessment criterion only accounts for 10%. Erasmus+ aims to help students learn languages. However, a level test will be administered to students without an official qualification.
Can I apply to participate more than once?
Of course. Erasmus does not limit student participation. You can apply to participate in Erasmus as many times as you like.
What happens if my situation changes before the trip?
Once selected, the student agrees to participate in the mobility program. All expenses incurred due to cancellation of the mobility program due to the student's failure to meet the requirements will be borne by the student, including accommodation and transportation.
